Finn Kalvik is The Summer Singer!
You have found Finn Kalvik’s own all-year summer site. A place where things will turn up while we all say goodbye to the summer that was, and suffer through fall and winter before the spring gives the summer a new invite.
– I like to be where the summer IS! – Finn Kalvik, buoyant
While waiting, as Finn grows more summery crop content here, we can also enjoy his other sites on the Web:
FINN KALVIK is a Norwegian singer songwriter with a European touch. He has earned his famous zero points in The European Song Contest. Finn was early in his youth befriended by his UK guitar heroes, friends like Roy Harper, Berth Jansch and Ralph McTell.
The acoustic steel string guitar and strong finger nails have been FINN’s trade marks, a love shared with his fellow country men like Lillebjorn Nilsen and Oystein Sunde.
FINN sings in the Norwegian language, but has nevertheless attracted more than his UK guitar mates to his unique art. One example is his collaboration with Swedish legends ABBA, and their Benny Andersson in particular.
